During a question and answer session at this month’s Fireside Chat, Connie Book addressed questions, concerns and goals for an Elon student’s experience before, during and after their time at the university.
Power went out on campus shortly after 11:20 a.m. Monday morning, leaving much of campus in the dark. Backup generators kicked in to keep emergency lights and some Wi-Fi service on. According to a spokesperson for Duke Energy, the source of the power outage is off of Walker Avenue. A fallen tree on a power line is suspected to be the source of the outage.
